Hi, just another quick card today. This time around I decided to make a gate fold card, but to add a belly band and decorated inside panel as with the Criss Cross cards.
The stamps I used came free with the May 2015 'Quick Cards Made Easy' magazine and I haven't got around to using this image until now. I stamped the images using 'Tuxedo Black' Memento Ink onto two pieces of white card and painted them using Gansai Tambi paints and white Posca for the highlights.
I used two die sets from Marianne Designs to cut the hearts and leaves and the backing papers are from the Pound Shop, as were the green gemstones.
The heart embellishments and flowers are from my crafty stash and I used 'Walnut Stain' Distress Ink to ink the edges of my papers.
Hope you like this card and thanks for stopping by.

Hi, today I have a card to share with you that uses the Coastal Walks and By The Sea stamp sets from Hobby Art. I have also used a frame die from Amy Designs.
I started by stamping the image using different elements from the Coastal Walks stamp set onto Hobby Art water colour card with 'London Fog' Memento Ink. I then taped off the edges with Washi tape and used a combination of Cotman water colours from Winsor & Newton and Kuretake Gansai Tambi.
I then Die cut the frame twice and painted them, also using the Cotmans and Gansai Tambi paints. I added highlights with a White Uni Posca Marker. I then decoupaged the Spyglass, Seagulls, Shell and Lighthouse using 3D Foam.
I used white card stock and Tim Holtz Core'dinations for the layering and Crafter's Companion 'Desert Storm' for the card base. I distressed the card base with a distressing tool and used 'Walnut Stain' Distress Ink on the edges.
I finished by adding the sentiment, a blue pearl to the centre of the Ship's wheel and Glossy Accents to the Spyglass Lens, Glass Bottles, Anchor and Lighthouse Windows.
I hope you like my card and thanks for stopping by.

Hello, just a quick card to share with you that uses the Snowman and Friends stamp set, which is the July Monthly special from Hobby Art.
I have used 'Faded Jeans' Distress Oxide for the background and Kuretake Silver Gansai Tambi to paint the snowflakes.
The image was stamped using 'Tuxedo Black' Memento Ink and I used a piece of Acetate to mirror stamp the image on the top right. I also stamped the sentiment with 'Tuxedo Black' ink. I then used the Gansai Tambi and Clean Colour Real Brush markers to paint the image.
I finished by adding highlights with a White Uni Posca marker.
Hope you like this card and thanks for visiting.

Hi, today I have another Criss Cross card to share with you that uses the Woodland Walk and Greetings For Friends stamp sets by Hobby Art.
I started by stamping the squirrel image onto two pieces of white card using 'London Fog' Memento Ink. I also stamped a few of the extra pine branches that came included in the stamp set around one of the squirrels.
I then used Kuretake Gansai Tambi Paints and Kuretake Clean Colour Real Brush markers to colour the images. I added highlights with a White Posca marker and the faux stitching detail has been stamped with the straight stitch stamp from the Stitch & Knit stamp set also from Hobby Art and using the Dark Brown Clean Colour as the ink.
The backing papers are left over from an old paper crafting set, think they are from Dovecrafts and the green gem stones are from the pound shop.
I cut the image for the band with Spellbinders Circle and Scalloped Circle dies and cut the other image to fit on the inside panel. I then finished the card by stamping the sentiment, also with the Dark Brown Clean Colour marker.
I hope you like this card and thanks for visiting.
Hello, today sees the start of the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers. Chanya is hosting this time around and has chosen the theme of 'Lots Of Layers'.
For my card I decided to use an old paper pad from Craftwork Cards called 'Paradise'. I also used Distress Oxides in 'Peeled Paint' and 'Faded Jeans' to change the colour of some of the papers to green.
I used a Provo Craft Embossing folder as a stamp to add some dimension to the green papers with the Distress Oxides and fussy cut out the flowers and hummingbirds.
A layer of acetate was added between the base layer and the frame to help create depth as the hummingbirds and flowers are adhered either flat or with 3D Foam on different layers in the card.
The largest hummingbird is a stamp from the £ bin at my local craft shop and has been stamped and embossed twice onto acetate. The first time I stamped with Archival Ink and embossed with Crystal powder, the second time I stamped with Versamark and embossed with Queens Gold from Ranger. I then used H2O'S to paint the bird and adhered the layers together.
I finished by adding the sentiment, adding highlights with a White Uni Posca Marker and adding Wink Of Stella throughout.
The picture above hopefully shows the depth created.
I hope you like my card and please check out my fellow DT's blog as they have made some lovely cards.
Thanks for taking the time to visit.

Hello, just a quick post today to show some of my samples from the Hobby Art July TV Shows on Hochanda. Jenny has brought some wonderful stamps form Polar Bears to Owls and the fabulous Round Robins.
Above is a Criss Cross card that I have made with the Poles Apart stamp set and Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints. The Sentiment is from the Christmas Frosting set. Unfortunately this card didn't get finished in time for the shows but I decided to show it here.
Below are some more samples from the TV shows.
I hope you like my samples and check out the TV Shows, today at 3pm and 7pm on Hochanda.
