Happy Birthday Vintage Florals

Hi. today I have a card to share with you that uses some more of my own hand drawn images. I sketched out the flowers onto some white card, then used a Black Micron Pen to Ink the flowers. I coloured the flowers with Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils, Paper Stumps and Gamsol. I then added some clear Wink of Stella to the flowers, before cutting them out.
The pink background was made with Homemade texture paste and the 'Flourish' stencil by Tim Holtz. While the texture paste was still wet I covered it with Stampendous Clear Pearl embossing powder and heat set when the paste had dried. I added 'Tattered Rose' and 'Victorian Velvet' Distress Ink over the background and sprayed with Perfect Pearl Spray.
The white layer was made by running some white card through the 'Trellis' embossing folder from Couture Creations and spraying with the Pearl Spray.
The green card that I used for my layering was made using 'Bundled Sage' Distress Ink. The die cut sentiment was cut with a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs from black card and Clear Wink of Stella added. I finished my card with some clear gemstones from my stash.
I hope you like my card and thanks for taking the time to visit.

  1. Oh, this is just gorgeous Sally! I can't believe you've drawn those wonderful flowers so I say again you should have these made into stamps. I thought the background was an embossing folder one. Brilliantly made with the texture paste and added mediums. I really love this!! Debra x
