Floral Cuckoo Clock

Hello, I enjoyed making yesterday's card so much that I decided to make another clock inspired project.
For the base of my Floral Cuckoo Clock I have cut the clock itself from chipboard using my Silhouette and a cutting file from the Silhouette store. I then cut it again from paper so that I could do some different techniques.

For the brick effect on the base of the house I first applied some of Pamellia Johnson's homemade texture paste through a Dutch Doobadoo stencil on to the card. I dried it quickly with my heat tool, before adding splodges of Winsor and Newton water colours in splodges. I then gave it a little spritz with water to blend the colours and allowed it to dry. I also cut some small strips from a spare piece of the wood effect paper and added them around the house for a bit more detail
The wood effect was created using PVA glue and 'Brushed Corduroy' and 'Walnut Stain' Distress Inks and a EB7 Spectrum Noir Alcohol marker.
The clock face was made by triple embossing the piece of card with Silver embossing powder and while the enamel is still warm, I stamped into it with a Crafty Individuals stamp and Black Archival Ink. The hands were coloured with a black marker and added with a grey brad. The chains at the bottom have also been embossed with silver embossing powder.
The birds are from an old stamp set by Woodware and have been coloured with Copic markers and white highlights added with a ZIG Woodcraft marker.

For the flowers I used a variety of dies and Distress Inks. The largest yellow and pink rose was made using a Pinflair die, 'Wild Honey' and 'Worn Lipstick' Ink. The smaller light pink roses were made using a Tonic Petal Pair Punch and 'Tattered Rose' Ink. The brighter pink flowers use two Dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs and 'Worn Lipstick' Ink. The yellow rose buds use a small five petal flower punch, from Tonic and 'Wild Honey'. The daisies also use a punch from Tonic and I have added some yellow seed beads to for the centres of these and the brighter pink flowers.
The flourish vine is a die from Cheery- Lynn that has been coloured with 'Peeled Paint' Distress ink and the smaller twig like greenery uses a Marianne Designs die and 'Brushed Corduroy' and 'Peeled Paint'.
To finish I added touch of clear Wink of Stella to the tips of the flowers for a bit of glitter and some green organza ribbon to hang it by.

I would like to enter this into the following challenge: Try It On Tuesday- Watches and Clocks

I hope you like my Cuckoo Clock and thanks for taking the time to stop by.
