Bugs Galore!

Hi, today I have a card to share with you that has been made using my favourite stamp 'Bugs Galore' from Stamps Happen Inc. I have stamped the full image once and then stamped the two bugs that I had chosen with 'Tuxedo Black' Memento Ink and coloured using Copic Markers and a White Gel Pen. I then added some Stickles and Glossy Accents to the bugs. I have made the backing paper with Distress Inks and Perfect pearl Spray before using an Embossing folder from Provo Craft to stamp a 'Vine' pattern onto the background with Acrylic Paint. The leaves were die cut from some left over pieces of the background paper using Cheery-Lynn dies The rolled flower has been cut using a die from Marianne Designs and painted with Gold Acrylic Paint. I have finished the card with a stamped greeting from my stash and some more Stickles. The card is 6 x 6 inches.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge: http://craftycardmakers.blogspot.co.uk/

Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Oh my Sally, what a perfect entry into our 'bug's life' challenge.

I love the bugs image, and what patience you have had to cut it all out so beautifully. The whole thing sits so beautifully against the green background with the foliage embellishments.

Thanks for sharing with us

Wow! What a fabulous card. Love the bugs in such different colours and the glossy accents and stickles really make them stand out. The background and leaves look brilliant. A really different card. Debra x
