Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #181- Love, Love, Love

Hello, today sees the start of the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers. Lin is hosting this challenge and her chosen theme for the fortnight is 'Love, Love, Love."

For my card I decided to use one of the sheep from Hobby Art's "Baa- Humbug" stamp set for my main image and the rose and sentiment from the "Thinking of Ewe" stamp set, also by Hobby Art.

I stamped the sheep and rose with Black Archival ink onto water colour paper and used Spectrum Aqua markers to colour them. The sentiment was embossed with sparkly silver powder.

I created a shaker element to my card using a Marianne Designs die to create the heart frame and aperture. I then embossed some acetate with a heart patterned embossing folder before filling with glitters and sequins.

The backing paper is from the 'Owls World' paper pad by Joy Crafts and the silver band is some Washi tape from the £ shop. I finished by adding some more glitter and some heart embellishments from my stash.
