Love

Hi, Today I have a Valentines themed card to share with you. For the grey backing paper I added a coat of 'Black Soot' Distress Ink before painting over with white Acrylic paint, which turned this nice grey colour as I painted it. When the paint was dry I added a background stamp from a 'Verve' stamp set with Archival Black Ink.
The pink paper was made by colouring some white card with 'Tattered Rose' Distress Ink, spritzing with water and then scrunching. I dried the paper, then added some 'Black Soot' and spritzed with water again and flattened the paper out to dry flat. I then stamped a text stamp which came on a cheap stamp set from my local supermarket with the Archival Ink and cut it out with a die from Marianne Designs.
The heart is cut with a Marianne Designs die and the papers are leftovers from the backgrounds. I also added some handmade flowers (Pinflair and Marianne Dies and Tattered Rose Distress Ink. I used a large pink gem for the centre of the largest flower and some cheap pink micro beads from the £ shop. The watch also came on the cheap stamp set and has been stamped with Black Staz- On onto acetate. The wing dies are by Cheery- Lynn and have been tinted on the edges with the two colours of Distress Ink and clear gems added. I finished the heart with some gems on sticks, lace and a pearl heart.
The 'Love' sentiment is from a Personal Impressions stamp set. I finished the card with some pretty French ribbon and lace from my local craft shop, gems, pearl heats and 'Cotton Candy' Distress Stickles.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge: Crafting By Designs- Anything Goes

I hope you like my card and thanks for visiting.
