Making Your Birthday A Wonderful Day

Hi, today I have a card to share with you that is a bit different to the style that I usually make. I bought this lovely clock face die from the Silhouette store a while back and have been waiting to use it on a project, and this fortnights challenge at Try It On Tuesday is the perfect opportunity.
My card uses a digital stamp 'Vintage Floral Frame' from The Paper Shelter. I printed the image and coloured it with Copic makers before using a white ZIG Woodcraft marker for highlights and a clear Wink Of Stella for a bit of shimmer. I then cut out the centre of the image and added the clock face.
The clock face was cut using my Silhouette and then covered with Tim Holtz Black Distress Embossing Powder. I then cut two Matt's, one I also covered with the Black Distress Embossing powder, the other from patterned paper and placed them underneath the clock face. The hands were cut out again and covered with gold gilding wax, before being attached with a brad.
I have used some backing papers from Craftwork Cards 'Butterfly Parade' paper pad and another Matt made using the Black Distress Embossing powder. I added some Pearl Stampendous embossing powder to the background after sponging some clear Versamark ink through a Flourish stencil by Tim Holtz. I also added a scattering of Shabby White Embossing Enamel to the background papers.
The damask shapes behind the sentiments were cut using my Silhouette and have been inked with 'Frayed Burlap' Distress Ink and Wink of Stella applied.
The swirls are a chipboard border from my stash, that I covered with the white ZIG Woodmarker and rubbed some gold gilding wax over the surface.
The sentiment is a Hobby Art stamp from their 'Birthday Collection' stamp set, which I stamped with Black Archival Ink and the butterflies were cut out from some of the patterned papers. This card is 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge: Try It On Tuesday- Watches and Clocks

I hope you like my card, I really enjoyed making something that was a little bit different to my usual style. And thanks for taking the time to visit.
