Lest We Forget

 

Hello, today I have a card to share with you that combines the Commemorative stamp set by Hobby Art with the Village Memorial and Bloom and Grow stamp sets by Daisy Mae Designs. The card is a pop up card which opens to reveal a field of poppies on the inside.

The images were stamped using Desert Sand Memento Ink onto Smooth White card. They were then coloured using Arteza Real Brush Markers and a few Zig Clean Colour Markers in Platinum Brown, Brick Beige and Warm Grey 2 for the stonework.

A white gel pen was used for highlights and the images were cut out leaving a thin white border.

The patterned papers are from the English Moments paper pad by Make and Create.

The soldiers are from the Hobby Art set and were stamped onto one of the backing papers using Gina K Black Amalgam Ink. The poppy cross, medal, sentiments are also from the Hobby Art set.

The grass was cut from green cardstock using some dies by Lawn Fawn and the dies for the sentiment are from The Works.
