Thank You Sunflowers

Hello, today I have a card to share with you that uses Hobby Arts June Monthly Special Sunshine & Sunflowers.

I stamped the sunflowers onto watercolour card using 'Rich Cocoa' Memento Ink. I then used Arteza watercolour pencils and a water brush to colour the image.

Then used the Mixed Media Christmas corner dies from Sizzix to cut out portions of the background. I then added some Stampendous Aged Gold Embossing enamel to the centres of the flowers and randomly over the background.

The sentiment was embossed with Ranger 'Queen's Gold' embossing powder and attached with 3D foam. I also raised the sunflower panel with some 3D Foam and added a panel of blue backing paper.

I finished the card by adding some pearls to each corner and mounting onto a 5 x 7 " Kraft card base.
I hope you like my card and thanks for stopping by.

  1. Beautiful card Sally! Wonderfully painted sunflowers and doesn't the gold embossing in the centres make a big difference . I love the background you've created with the die cut out, the blue underneath is a lovely colour to add to the design. Gorgeous as ever! Debra x
