Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #171- By Or Under The Sea
Hello, the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers is 'By or Under The Sea'.
For my card I have used some stamps from Hobby Arts 'Shells' and 'By The Sea' stamp sets. I stamped the images and coloured them with Polychromos pencils and added some gloss varnish over them.
The background papers are from the 'Under The Sea' paper block from Joy Crafts and I used some circle dies to cut the apertures into which I set some of the stamped images.
The sand was made by mixing embossing powder with Glossy Accents and then spread over a torn piece of card to which I added the rest of the stamped images and some miniature shells.
I finished by adding some clear glitter and sequins.
I hope you like my inspiration for this challenge and please check out my fellow DT's cards as they have made some gorgeous projects.
Thanks for stopping by.

ReplyDeleteOh, Sally, I don't know how you come up with such fabulous card designs. The seabed is just fantastic. I didn't know that mixing embossing powder and glossy accents made sand like that, what a clever idea. Your colouring with the pencils is so wonderful, I love the sea life in the circles and the shells. Debra x
