Spring Fledgling

Hi, today I have a card to share with you that uses a hand drawn image. The baby sparrow was drawn with a 01 Black Uni Pin pen and coloured with Copics and a couple of Nuvo markers by Tonic. I also added some white details with some watered down white acrylic paint and some Glossy Accents to the eye and beak.

The Ornate oval frame, scalloped border under the sentiment and the leaves have been cut from my Silhouette. The frame and border have been heat embossed with Ranger's 'Queens Gold' and the leaves have been coloured with 'Bundled Sage' Distress Ink and 'Pearl' Mica Spray.

The backing papers are from a Paper Maker collection by Craftstyle. I have distressed the edges and added some 'Enchanted Gold' by Papermania embossing powder around the edges. I added some tears to the pink paper to reveal where I have used the Tim Holtz 'Latticework' stencil and some more 'Queens Gold' embossing powder.

The glitter panel behind the frame is a piece of the blue backing paper which I have wrapped around some gorgeous glittered organza ribbon (bought from my local craft shop).

The flowers were made by colouring some white paper clay and rolling it out so that it is paper thin. I then dried the clay and cut the flowers out using a Crafts- Too die and added some pearls to the centres. The ribbons and pearls on strings are from my local supermarket and the gems on sticks are from my stash.

The feathers are also cut from my Silhouette and coloured with the Alcohol markers before snipping the edges to make more feather like. The sentiment is from Hobby Art's 'Friends Sentiments' stamp set and has been embossed with the Queens Gold.

I finished the card by adding some pearls onto the frame and two of the corners.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
