Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #156- Punches and/or Dies
Hello, today sees the start of the new fortnightly challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers. Maike is the hostess for this challenge and she would like to see your cards that feature Punches or Dies, or both.
For my card I have chosen to use some flower dies from Marianne Designs to cut some roses from light blue, medium blue, grey and cream lightweight card stock. I spritzed the die cuts with some Pearl mica spray and scrunched them up before leaving them to dry.
The patterned papers are from the 'Butterfly Parade' 8 x 8 paper pad by Craftwork Cards. The butterflies and roses have been cut from the paper pad and 'Clear' Wink of Stella added for a lovely shimmer.
The clock, Eiffel Tower stamp and text are from a cheap stamp set that I bought at my local supermarket and have been stamped with Black Archival Ink and the Sentiment stamp was floating around my stamp box, so I am not sure who it is from. The heart die is also from Marianne Designs and has been cut from Black Core'dnations card. The acetate behind the heart has been embossed with the 'Trellis' embossing folder from Couture Creations.
I hope you like you inspiration for this challenge and please check out my fellow DT's blog as they have made some lovely cards.
Thanks for stopping by.
