Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #155- New
Hello, today sees the start of the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers. As it is the first challenge of the New Year the theme for this challenge is 'New' and I will be hosting this challenge. Before I continue I would like to welcome Ngaere, Judy and Angela to the Design Team.
For my card I decided to make a 'New Home' card. I have made another Aperture Double Gate-fold card, but this time used a heart shaped die from Marianne Designs to create the aperture and pink scalloped frame.
The cottage is a stamp from Hobby Art's 'Spring Scenes' clear stamp set and has been coloured with Copic Makers. The backing papers are from Joy Crafts 'Flower Blooming' paper pad. The Picket fence, bird, birdhouse and branches are also dies by Marianne Designs and have been coloured with Spectrum Aqua markers.
The flowers are made using a die from Elizabeth Craft Designs and the leaves have been cut using a die from Crafts- Too. I added some gems to the centres of the flowers. The bunting hanging in the trees came free with an old magazine, don't know which one and has had 'In Your New Home' written on each piece to finish the card.
I hope you like the card I have created for this challenge and please check out my fellow DT's blogs as they have made some beautiful projects.
Thanks for stopping by.
