Falling Leaves Tags
Hello, today I have a couple of tags to share with you that use the 'Falling Leaves' and 'Scene-it Sentiment' stamp sets from Hobby Art. I started by cutting two tags from Kraft card and stamping the large Maple leaf with Versamark ink. I added some brown chalk to the Versamark ink and then painted the leaves with watered down Pearl mica spray. I then cut another tag the same size from white card, which I coloured with 'Dusty Concorde', 'Peeled Paint' and 'Rusty Hinge' Distress Ink. I then added some white Gesso and repeated the Distress Ink process. I then stamped the maple leaf again, this time in 'Rich Cocoa' Memento ink and faux bleached the leaves using clean water. I then sprayed the tag with Pearl mica spray and added some shadow around the edge of the leaves with a brown Copic marker. I finished this layer by sponging some Versamark ink through the Tim Holtz 'Honeycomb' stencil from Stampers Anonymous and adding some yellow chalk. I then ripped the tag into three sections and inked all the torn edges. I stamped and embossed with Bronze embossing powder a selection of leaves from the stamp set and painted them with Twinkling H2O's. I added some different sized drops of Glossy Accents to make a dew drop type texture and let it dry.The sentiment stamps were stamped with Memento ink and the ribbons and lace are from my stash.
I would like to enter these tags into the following challenge: http://lovetoscrapchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/
I hope you like my tags and thanks for taking the time to visit.
