Crafty Cardmakers Cut It Out Challenge
Hi, today is the start of the new challenge at Crafty Cardmakers and More, which is 'Cut It Out'. So this time we want to see cards where you have used Die cuts and, or Punches.
For the main focal point on my card I used a die from Crafts- Too called 'Merry Christmas Angels'. I cut the image twice from Kraft card and cut the sentiment free from the ornaments before adding gold gilding wax. I then cut the angels from white card and added Stickles to the wings and coloured their faces and hair with Copic markers. I cut the dresses and bauble from scraps of different patterned papers, then stuck them on top of the Kraft base. I cut the white frame and it's Kraft card mat using my Silhouette and an image from the Silhouette Store. I then threaded two strands of twine through the small square holes in the frame. The backing papers I have used came free with the Molly Blooms 'Christmas Carnival' Magazine, as did the buttons. I used a gold gel pen to add faux stitching around the white frame and details to the angels and bauble. More Stickles to finish, along with some pearls and bows from my stash. The card is 6 x 6 inches.
I hope you like my take on this challenge and please take the time to check out my fellow Design Team members blogs as they are packed full of inspiration and creativity. Also, this weeks prize is the super stamp from Hobby Art and a gift certificate from Di's Digis.
Sally.
