Crafty Cardmakers and More It's Only Words Challenge

Hi, I am back today with a card that I have made for the new challenge at Crafty Cardmakers and More. The challenge this time is 'It's Only Words', which means that the sentiment has to be a main focus on your design.

I have chosen to make a Halloween style card for this challenge. I cut the spiders web using my Silhouette from black card, then applied some crystal glitter. The text stamp has been stamped with Archival black ink onto some patterned paper that I cut to the same size as the middle of the web. I then applied some more glitter to the edges and some glossy accents to the centre. The orange backing paper is from K and Company's Que Sera Sera paper pad and has been embossed with the 'Ornate Diamonds' embossing folder from Couture Creations. The purple backing layer had been made using 'Dusty Concorde' Distress Ink and Pearl Mist Spay. The flowers have been made using a Tonic 'Petal Pairs' punch and some Marianne Designs dies and 'Rusty Hinge' and 'Dusty Concorde' Distress Ink. The die cut leaves have been cut using a die from Crafts- Too. I have added some metal leaves that I have coloured green, a silver key to which I have added some gems and a bottle of Purple Potion that has been made using Acrylic paint, Glossy Accents and Glitter. The spider is an embellishment by Tim Holtz that I have added some Silver gilding wax to. I have also added a home made hat pin, a 'fanged mouth' charm, black lace, orange skull ribbon, some black pearls and just a few purple gems on sticks from my stash.

I hope you like my creation and thanks for taking the time to stop by.
           Sally.
