Crocus With Love
Hello, today I have a card to share that uses the free die that came included with issue 73 of Die- cutting Essentials Magazine.
The die was cut three times from smooth white card stock and layered to create depth. This was then added to a panel of white card that had been coloured with Cracked Pistachio and Wild Honey Distress Inks. Then took the petals from one of the left over die cuts and coloured them using Copic markers. Wink of Stella was added to make them sparkle and some white gel pen highlights before inlaying them into place. The stamens for the Crocus were then cut from Gold Mirror card.
The background was created by inking through the Latticework stencil by Tim Holtz using the Cracked Pistachio and Wild Honey Distress Inks. Then adding a layer of Cosmic Shimmer Ultra Sparkle Paste and allowing to dry.
Both word dies are from the Works and the 'With' is part of an alphabet set. The card was finished by adding some Green and Purple translucent drops and gems from my stash.
I hope you like this card and thanks for stopping by.
Sally .x.
