Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #167- Shabby Chic/ Distressed

Hi, today sees the start of the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers. Ina is hosting this challenge and has chosen the theme of Shabby Chic/ Distressed.

For my card I started with a Kraft card base, to which I added a layer of white pearl card. I then added some corrugated Kraft card and some patterned paper from 'A Beautiful Life' papers from Trimcraft.

The Lacy circles are cut from the pearl card using my Silhouette, as is the patterned circle layer.

The large flower and leaves have also been cut from the Pearl card using my Silhouette, then coloured with Spectrum Aqua Markers. The rosette flower was a  ready made embellishment that matches the paper pack, as do the pearls and metal pearl brad.

The vellum flower and pink patterned flower were made with a Tonic flower punch and a pearl added in the centre. The remaining flowers are made with paper clay and a silicone mould.

I finished the card with some matching pearls in various pinks and white and lots of splatters of diluted white Acrylic paint.

I hope you like my inspiration for this challenge and please check out my fellow DT's blogs as they have made some gorgeous cards.

Thanks for taking the time to visit.
