Crafty Cardmakers and More Triple B Challenge

Hi, It's time for a new challenge at Craft Cardmakers and More and the challenge this time is 'Triple B'. You have to chose three of the five following things to include on your project.
Please pop on over to the Crafty Cardmakers and More blog to see the beautiful inspiration that the rest of the Design Team have created and to check out the prize, which is a fab set of stamps.

For this challenge I have chosen to use Butterflies, Birthday and Banners. I have used the 'Butterflies' stamp set from Hobby Art and stamped a selection of butterflies, masking each one after I had stamped it. I coloured the butterflies with Copic markers and a white gel pen. I then added some glitter to the butterflies wings and some glossy accents to the three top most butterflies. I then coloured the background with a selection of green Copic Markers before again masking the butterflies and stamping a fern stamp with 'Peeled Paint' Distress Ink. The text stamp is from Woodware and has been stamped onto a hand cut banner. I have used Core'dinations card stock for the layering. The finished card is 6 x 6 inches.

Hope you like my interpretation of the 'Triple B' challenge and thanks for visiting.

  1. Your card is stunning Sally. Fabulous stamping and colouring and you get an extra pat on the back for being the only one who didn't choose blue! Lol xx

  2. What a wonderful kaleidoscope of butterflies! All that stamping and masking must have taken some time to do but the effect is fabulous especially with your colouring, glittering and adding of glossy accents. Absolutely beautiful Sally. Debra x

  3. Wow Sally, this is stunning! What an intricate design! So many gorgeous colours (including blue BTW). I just all of the glitter you added to the butterflies wings, so eye catching!! What a gorgeous Triple B creation! hugs :)

  4. Absolutely stunning, Sally! The colors and the technique! This is definitely a labor of love! Just beautiful!

  5. Absolutely stunning, Sally! Those butterflies look quite spectacular, and I'd assumed it was a single stamp until I read your description. You must have such patience to mask them all like that!

  6. Sally, this is just AMAZING, and you colouring, well what can I say!!! May I send Jenny at Hobby Art a link to your card as she would be blown away by all of the work that you have put into it?
    Hugs Kimx

    1. Hi Kim, thanks for the wonderful comments and you may send Jenny a link to my card. Thanks Sally D.x.
