Feeling Festive

Hi, this year I have been struggling with getting into the Christmas Spirit, so I decided to spruce up my blog to try and help me get into the mood. Today I have a card to show you using 'Molly with Holly' stamp from Molly Blooms. I have stamped the image with Black Memento ink and coloured it with Copic markers and a white gel pen. The papers are from my local craft shop, and were loose stock, so I don't know who made them. I have used some red Bazzill Basics card for the layering. The snowflakes are cut using dies from Marianne Designs and the ribbon is from my local haberdashery. The large red button and snowflake button are from my stash and the pearl centre is from my local craft shop. I have added some glitter and Perfect Pearls to finish. The card is 5 x 6 inches.

A Kraft and White Christmas

Hello, today I have a card to show you that I made using a tree stamp from a stamp set that I have had for a few years, but I cant remember which company they are from. Here is a picture of the complete stamp set, if anyone know who they are made by, it would be a great help.

Firstly I stamped the Christmas tree with Black Archival ink onto a Kraft die cut circle and coloured with a white gel pen. I then stamped and embossed the tree with white embossing powder onto vellum and cut out. I stick the tree down and added some torn vellum strips to the bottom for snow and glitter to the sky and trees. The Kraft panel behind the main circle had been stamped with a snowflake stamp from Hot Off The Press in 'Frayed Burlap' Distress Ink. The embossing folder I have used if from Darice and had been inked again with 'Frayed Burlap' Distress Ink. The stamped sentiment is from Hero Arts. I have used Spellbinders for the circles and a Marianne Designs die for the snowflake. The ribbons and button are from my stash and I have added faux stitching and Perfect Pearls to finish. The card measures 5 x 7 inches.

Underwater Kingdom Mask

Hello, today I have another mask to show you. The mask base is a Decoupatch mask that I have painted with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint 'Picket Fence', then applied Perfect Pearls Mica powder over the top.  The eyebrows and eyeliner have been painted using Gold Alcohol Ink. I have used the 'Something Fishy' stamp set from Chocolate Baroque for the fish, seaweed and the shell stamp (left side of the face). I stamped the fish and shell with 'Tuxedo Black' Memento Ink and coloured them with Copic Markers and glazed them with Glossy Accents. The seahorse is a stamp from Creative Expressions and has been coloured the same way. The seaweed was stamped using Black Archival Ink onto Tim Holtz Idea-ology Grungepaper and coloured using Twinkling H2O's . The shells are from a local shell shop and the paper that I have used for the sand and the starfish are from Kanban. The paper I have used in the background is from Crafty Individuals 'The Seaside' 6 x 6 paper pad.The ribbon, blue twine and pearls are from my local haberdashery. The anchor is a Marianne Designs die that had been triple embossed with gold embossing powder. The crabs, blue shells and treasure chest are buttons that have been in my stash for a while. The finished mask measures 12 1/2 inches x 13 1/2 inches.
